Location

No matter what the season, Bombala has much to offer:

Walk along the main street, shop in our local shops, take a relaxing stroll or run along the Bombala River, that flows through the middle of the township - keep an eye out for the local wildlife including the native platypus.

There are numerous cafes and restaurants including the historic Mail Coach Restaurant.

A scenic drive around the township will allow you to take in the many sights including many historic buildings.

If you want to travel further afield Bombala's Neighbouring Towns are a short drive away - such as:

Merimbula

Approximately one hour drive.

In Merimbula there are many things to do such as, enjoying a family day at one of the beaches, Get out on the water with hire boats if fishing charters, and dolphin watching, Take a scenic flight over the far south coast, or if you just wanted to have some fun you could go to Magic Mountain, Top Fun & Mandeni Family Fun Park and much, much more.

Pambula

Approximately one hour drive.

In Pambula you could, enjoy the beautiful historic buildings, visit the 'Oaklands' complex, Take a walk around Panboola, Visit the friendly Kangaroos at Pambula Beach and try some oysters at Pambula Lake.

Cooma

Approximately one hour drive.

In Cooma you can go to the Cinema, wander through the main street, go shopping, have a meal at one of the restaurants, and much, much more.

Eden

Approximately one hour drive.

In Eden you could, check out the trawlers at Eden Wharf, Wander through the Sapphire Marine Discovery Centre, Hire a fishing charter, take a cruise or try kayaking on Twofold Bay and if that’s not for you, you could explore the National Parks.
